Authors Erica Would Like To Meet

Today I had my college class of Intro to Human Communication and was absolutely dreading going. I hate public speaking, I hate talking to new people, it just makes my stomach go into knots. Just talking about it right now is making me all jittery. So to my point, if I met one of my favorite author's I would be so nervous and would probably pass out in the midst of waiting in line. I want to meet them, no doubt, just don't know how well it would go if it came to that.

Okay, enough of the rambling that I am oh so good at, I just want to say that I am never going to pass up a chance to meet one of my favorite authors...or an any author in general.

Colleen Hoover

John Green

Suzanne Collins

Lurlene McDaniel

Lauren Myracle

Authors Christy Would Like To Meet

I'm an extremely shy person, and I've been told I'm a little awkward, so when I get in front of people I don't know, I don't know what to say.  Or if I do say something, I over analyze it and wonder if they took it the wrong way, or whether they thought it was a stupid thing to say...see awkward.  Anyway, my point is, this is what happens with regular, everyday people.  But with authors? All that shyness and awkwardness is like ten-fold and I don't know what to do or what to say.

Regardless, I'd still like to meet some of my favorite authors.  I actually did meet one of them last year, Jeaniene Frost. It was the first and only author event that I've been too and it was amazing.

Ok, enough with my rambling, here's my list!

Jennifer L. Armentrout

Colleen Hoover

Darynda Jones

Tahereh Mafi

Abby McDonald/Abigail Haas

What are some authors that you would love to meet?

Erica

Erica is a 20 year old college student and book lover. When she’s done with studying she’ll always want to relax with a book, of any kind. If she’s not reading she could be caught up in her latest Netflix series or lost in a conversation with her spectacular boyfriend.

Same! I hate public speaking with a passion and am just not that outgoing. I always fear people will find me weird for some wired reason. If I ever got to meet any of these authors, I'd try very hard to be social lol.

I would love to meet Jennifer L. Armentrout too! Also, I would love to meet Krista and Becca Ritchie, and Diana Gabaldon. I am sure I would be super nervous and awkward though as always when meeting someone new lol

I would DIE if I met Colleen Hoover and John Green! Hehe they sound awesome!
I met Jennifer Donnelly at a book signing last week, and I'm sure she doubts my ability to read since I could barely string together five words to say to her... I was totally shy and awkward.

I would probably freak out if I met Tahereh Mafi. She is so awesome! I'd be starstruck and say something really stupid! LoL
Right with you there Erica, I hate speaking in front of people, only had to do it a few times (luckily), and one of them was an English Lit presentation, something I loved and yet when I got to it, was just like "uhm...." :/ John Green! Suzanne Collins! Definitely.

Now, it would be so fun to meet Abigail Haas, I mean, see what's going on up in her head, haha. I'd be a total fangirl. But at least you've been to one event Christy, right? You probably feel a bit more comfortable knowing what to expect now.

There are a ton of authors I'd love to meet (including those three) but main ones I think would be J.K. Rowling, Richelle Mead, Sarah J. Maas and Kendare Blake.

AHhh Jennifer is so amazing lol!! I would love to get the chance to meet my all time favorite author Brandon Sanderson! I also want to meet Sarah J. Maas, but I will be seeing her in February! You guys have a wonderful list and because you both put Colleen Hoover, I think I'm going to give one of her books a try!

I would die and go to book heaven if I could meet Veronica Roth. She's actually the author that got me into YA in the first place. Plus, even before the movie, Divergent was my favorite thing. It used to be like my little secret and I'm so proud because look at it now!

Yes! Colleen Hoover is way up on my list, too, as is Tahereh Mafi :) I am going to RT in Texas in May, and I'm really excited about it - I hope I'll be able to just hang out and have fun both with other bloggers, and with the amazing authors who will be there. Colleen Hoover is actually one of them :D

Colleen Hoover and JLA are at the top of my list too! And I'm really lucky because Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher are coming to the Philippines this year! I can't wait to meet them! <3
