My Epic Rec partner is Beth from Betty's Books. For the month of January, I recommended that Beth read This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales and she recommended that I read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
I recommended This Song Will Save Your Life because it was my favorite contemporary of 2013 and it is such a touching and emotional read.
I'm super excited to read The Book Thief. I've been thinking about it for a while but I was scared that I wouldn't like it. But since it was this month's Epic Rec, I have to give it a try :)

ReplyDeleteI really need to read the Book Thief because of the movie coming out. I'm on of those that refuses to see the movie until the book is read first! lol
