Books It Seems that Everyone Loves....Except Me

I know that we all have those books that we just don't like and that's ok, but for me, it seems like the ones that I'm just not into to, everyone else LOVES THEM.

Need examples?  Here you go:

See, there's not just one or two, there's a ton.  I could've added more but I figured would try to keep some of my dignity.

And if you're wondering what the point of this post is, I'm just hoping to find someone who didn't really care for these books either just to make myself feel better.  I was supposed to be studying for finals but I was procrastinating so...

*waves* Oh! Oh! I didn't really like Under the Never Sky. Like...not at all. Which I feel insanely guilty about because it's a series everyone raves about it and I spent most of my time reading it...asleep. Bleh. But THE RAVEN BOYS? *sobs a little* I love that series so so so much.

I haven't read most of those books, BUT I have read Amy and Roger's Epic Detour and I wasn't a big fan of it either! I gave it 3 stars I think, and I don't think I'll ever reread it. However, I did like Morgan Matson's other books a lot.

I actually haven't read any of those yet but some books that I didn't like are Matched by Ally Condie, Teardrop by Lauren Kate and The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. Oh and the Fifty Shades series *shudders*

I have only read 2 of the books on your list. One I loved and the other I DNF. I read a book recently not on list that I didn't like at all and when I went to check out the reviews on goodreads it was rated over a 4 and I didn't understand it at all. I even wondered if I read the same book as everyone else. It's goos to see some diversity here. We can't all love every book we read.
Another Little Piece was definitely weird. When I tried to tell someone about it out loud it ended up sounding completely ridiculous, and the person I was telling it to looked at me like I was nuts. I loved Ashfall though... sorry :( But I know how you feel not liking books everyone else seems to love. Like Perks of Being a Wallflower for me and Jellicoe Road.

The Book Thief - REALLY?

Well, to each her own. But to this Jewish-American girl, TBT is just about one of the best books ever.

Ok, you do have quite a few of books I love on this list, but I didn't like Everneath. At all. I keep hearing that the next two books are much better, but with so many other books to read, I have no desire to read them. And Nil was interesting, but I didn't love it. Another Little Piece…disturbing and interesting, but I wouldn't say I loved it. So yes, feel better!! :)
