Blogger Tips | Free Resources That I Love

Posted on Thursday, December 12, 2013 4:00 AM

As bloggers we all love those free resources that make our life a little easier.  So, I thought I would share some of the ones that I've come to love.

Picmonkey is a great tool to use to create banners, collages, edit photos, add text or overlays to photos and so much more.  I use it constantly for my Top Ten Tuesday posts, and I've used it for everyone of my meme banners.  The best part is it's completely free to use.

I've been using YA Book Exchange since November of 2012 and I love it.  I don't always have money to buy new books so its nice to have a place where I can find books that I want and trade them to books that I have.

I just recently joined this site but I'm loving what I've seen so far.  This is a great directory to use to find new blogs.  You can also like blogs, send friend requests, see new posts from blogs, there's also groups and forums that you can join.

What are some of your favorite resources?

  1. cool post. I love it when people share stuff like this. I've never heard of Book Blogging, but I'm definitely going to check it out. I like picmonkey but I also use pixlr bc it's more like a Photoshop-ish style editor.

  6. I recently learned about PicMonkey and I really need to use it more. It would be great to give my blog a more unified look.

And yes, BookBlogging.net is great. I haven't had as much time to explore as I'd like, but I can't wait to really dig in and use it to find more new-to-me blogs.

  8. Oooh I love these picks! Kudos to Ashley for her site, and I think that Picmonkey is definitely one of the best resources out there too :D I also like to use Goodreads for tracking books and crossposting reviews, as well as Microsoft OneNote for tracking recaps and discussion ideas. Great post, Christy!
