My Thoughts:

Remember Me is the sequel to the amazing thrill ride that was Find Me and as I expected, this second installment had just as much action and mystery as its predecessor, maybe even more so. But, Wicket Tate is not the same girl that she was in Find Me which is to be expected given everything that she goes through in the first book. She is left changed by her traumatic experiences and she is now suffering from PTSD and a whole lot of trust issues, but who wouldn’t be if they had suffered everything that she has in her short life. In the end, it will only make her stronger, she just has to figure that out for herself.

Like I said above, there is a whole lot of action and mystery happening in this book and you don’t get warmed up to it. No, we get thrown in within the first couple of chapters and that’s just the way I like it ;) Wicket is working on something for Carson when she gets a little too involved with a murder case, not to mention there’s new things that are turning up about her mother’s suicide. Wick is in for something that could prove to be more dangerous than she originally thought.

Can I just say that I love how strong Wick is? If I had her upbringing and if I had to endure everything that she and Lily have, I probably still wouldn’t be standing, let alone fighting back. But it seems that everything that happens to her only makes her stronger as a person and hopefully one day she won’t have to keep fighting back, that she won’t have anyone to fight.

If you’ve read the summary for this book then you know that it mentions a “brooding new love interest” and while I was a little apprehensive at first, I actually really enjoyed the ‘brooding new love interest’. Maybe even more than Griff (don’t hate me!). Unfortunately, I just wasn’t too impressed with Griff in this installment. Maybe that will change, maybe it won’t, I’ll just have to wait until I read Trust Me to find out.

Remember Me is an action packed thrill ride that will leave you guessing while hanging on to the edge of your seat the entire time. If you were a fan of the first book then I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with this one because it’s just as engrossing and captivating as the first book.

My Thoughts:

The Half Life of Molly Pierce had me intrigued from the very beginning. I’m a sucker for psychological thrillers and books like this one is why. The mystery is there from the beginning and it keeps you guessing the entire time.

Molly has been having regular black outs for quite some time, she will wake up somewhere completely difference and have no memory of what has happened during the last few hours. Losing hours of her time freaks Molly out so much that she hides it from everyone else because she’s afraid of what it means.

Molly was a really interesting character and she was very easy to like. I was constantly on my toes trying to figure out what was going on. At the beginning of this story when we are first introduced to what was happening with Molly, I was thinking everything from brain tumor to alien abduction (Daemon, anyone?) but as the story went on it all began to fall into place and I began to put some of the pieces together and figure out what was happening.

I can’t really say too much without spoiling anything but I will say that the mystery unfolds nicely and the pacing was perfect, there was not a boring moment throughout the entire book.

Overall, The Half Life of Molly Pierce is an engaging and fascinating mystery that will keep you enthralled until the very end.

What if you went to sleep and when you woke up, you had missed months of your life?  This is what happens to Chloe.  She takes a little cat nap during study hall in May and when she wakes up, six months have gone by.  Not only does she have no memories of that time, but everything in her life has changed.  Her best friend is no longer speaking to her, the guy that she had a major crush on is now her boyfriend and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. 

Once Chloe starts trying to figure out what happened to her, she finds out a lot of things that don’t quite add up.  She’s not sure exactly who she can trust or why someone would want to take her memory, but she’s determined to figure it out.

Chloe was a very easy character to like.  She’s smart, loyal and very determined once she sets her mind on something.  There is a little bit of a love triangle in this book.  On one side she’s got the guy that she has had a crush on since freshman year and on the other, she’s got the guy with the bad boy reputation but who’s actually extremely smart and caring.

I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say that from the beginning I didn’t trust one of these guys at all.  Everything about him just screamed untrustworthy.  And too many things that Chloe discovered pointed toward him knowing something about what was happening to her. 

Overall, Six Months Later is definitely a book that I would consider a page turner.  Once I got started on it, I couldn’t stop until the very last page.  The writing is so good that I got completely immersed in Chloe’s story, I felt like I was right alongside her and trying my best to help her figure out what was happening.  If you like your books with a little mystery, then you should give this one a try.
