This tends to work well for me because I read relatively quickly, so I don't really need to worry about not being able to meet deadlines for review books. And I guess it doesn't even really matter when you publish a review for a review book (as long as it's not a year later or something like that :P). It's good just to step back from the review pile every once in a while and tackle the TBR.Narahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09378806643397167349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-10591034919212969262013-09-15T19:28:20.045-04:002013-09-15T19:28:20.045-04:00I think that sounds like a great way to tackle you...I think that sounds like a great way to tackle your pile of books you own! I have so many books that I've been wanting to read for a long time, but there are always new books coming along! I buy 2-4 new books a week plus occasionally I'll get a review book. I need to back off the buying until I read some of what I already have.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01693025292276915306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-38120283528568645892013-09-14T04:38:00.668-04:002013-09-14T04:38:00.668-04:00I had exactly the same problem. Now I read one review book, one of my own every week and usually one I won as well. I read about 4 books so the extra one is usually another review book. It feels better to have a system and I no longer feel I'm ignoring big chunks of my books.Trish @ Between My Lineshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08517849083417759188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-78251686318557374212013-09-14T00:03:34.603-04:002013-09-14T00:03:34.603-04:00Well, either fortunately or unfortunately, I don&#...Well, either fortunately or unfortunately, I don't really have many review books to read. But I do feel like I have to read the books I have from the library. I usually try and alternate between types (dystopian, contemporary, fantasy, etc) just to mix it up. But your system does sound like a good idea. ~Pamyaescapefromrealityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08200254719073248981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-48201385114145046222013-09-13T20:39:18.173-04:002013-09-13T20:39:18.173-04:00Wish I could help but I have the exact same issue,...Wish I could help but I have the exact same issue, there are so many books I own that I desperately want to read, Divergent and Throne of Glass, for two. I wish I could follow that system, it's a great idea! I just feel so guilty for not reading review books first, haha!Alisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06178388552763222269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-49760185130866987252013-09-13T19:37:55.403-04:002013-09-13T19:37:55.403-04:00I was finding myself stressing out about this too....I was finding myself stressing out about this too. What I did was; Schedule specific books for certain days of the week. Monday ARCs- Tuesday Library, etc.. So then, I would just alternate between them all. It seems to be working out so far!

I hope your system works out for you! Let me know how it goes :)Tonyaleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09748641071746465391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-81156492918228067382013-09-13T12:33:35.855-04:002013-09-13T12:33:35.855-04:00Oh, well this is helpful :D I hope you find your s...Oh, well this is helpful :D I hope you find your system effective! I don't have a system, but I usually just pick the most interesting book on the shelf. If there are a lot of those, I just go for the nearest one. Haha!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4698426760128253051.post-52859649200890051002013-09-13T04:41:10.165-04:002013-09-13T04:41:10.165-04:00I don't really have much of a choice. So yeah, I have a big pile that needs to be read. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13470835214126265307noreply@blogger.com
